what happens if 498a case is registered(bangalore) and complainant does not attend the court proceedings for a period or 3 years. process of settlement starts and consent terms for trial period & mutual consent divorce in case of trial is unsucessful is signed and filed in family court. but there is no compromise or settlement(in mumbai). He has collected certified copy of this consent terms. want to know if this to quash 498a. Can i fight 498a case after this 3 years by appearing in the court.How do I find the case status.what can be the strategy?

Once you file complaint then it is govt/police who deal criminal cases.
If compromise then you may quash the same through high court.
