498A husband , help

my wife filed 498A against me and my family. She hacked all my email ids and now using them against me, she presents with emails that i never wrote to her and shows in court. Can these emails harm me? how much importance will court give to those emails sent by me and my sister's id as well. please tell me that will court order to find out IP address of the mails to confirm who sent those mails to her? She is using my sister's id as well. will these mails work against me as those ids are my personal email accounts i made long back before marriage. pls answer this.

Authenticity of Emails have to be proved in the court alongwith the reference under which such emails were written by the author.Court will certainly order the police to find our IP address once you deny the reponsibility for such emails and also specially request to arrange investigation through police.IT act has several provision to protect the innocent victims against cyber-crime. You have not specified about the contents of emails. If they are damaging, then likely to be go against you. However, emails needs to be proved as provided by IT Act and Evidence Act.
