about 498-A

my wife filed a case on 04-09-2006 , so it is about 3 years. still iam not able to get bail , because her father is D.S.P of police. my question is after 3 years does the case remails valid , does the FIR is valid for trial at court. is there any chance that the fir becomes invlaid , as the duration crossed 3 years

If you are in jail, consider approaching high court for quashing as main prayer and bail as alternate prayer.

in case you have not got the bail since 3 years, there is a possibility that you have been declared a proclaimed offender. check the court records and get back. no, the case does not close after 3 years.
