You may file complaint u/s.138 Negotiable Instrument Act and also Recovery suit as provided u/order 37 Of Code of civil procedure. Take advise of a local lawyer.

You have two options - intiiate prosecution for offence under section 138 NI Act and file a suit for recovery of amount. You can initiate both the proceedings within the period of limitation prescribed.
