A govt. servant / Bank employ borrows money producing cheque and P N. and fails to pay. sec 138 of N I Act takes much time..With the help of P N how to proceed and what are the steps to realise the amount like attachment of salary ;insolvency proceedure may kindly enlightened

You are entitled to file a suit for recovery using Summary Procedure provided under CPC. You may also seek attachment of assets before decree.

you can file a suit for recovery under order XXXVII before the appropriate court of law and simultaneously file an application for attachment before judgement in that suit.
