what is mean of 156(3)

sir what is 156(3)?

please tell me in detail.and if we never comitted any murder then it is right to be lodge f.i.r?

the person who wants to lodge f.i.r is fake and had no concern with dead person than how can he pray to the court to order to lodge f.i.r. against us?

and sir can we get an arrest stay from the highcourt without registering f.i.r?

156(3) is a provision or section of code of criminal procedure. Under this provision, a court can direct police to investigate into a cognisable offence.

You can not obtain an order of stay of registration of FIR. However, you can apply for anticipatory bail before the sessions court or high court or for stay of arrest before the high court. You can also apply for quashing of FIR before the high court.
