in acriminal case during crossexamination of a prosecution witness defence lawyer produces a statement made by the witness earlier.this statement was given by the witness to his superior. witness admits it is his statement. it is marked as d1.the question is whether we have to highlight the points in the statement and get it confirmed by the witness or highlight the points at the time of arguement?these points are not in 161
