Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Please advice: I am fighting a court case against me, section 279 and 338. Its been going on for four years.The complainant is willing to settle out of court,to ease matters for both of us,but my lawyer advises against it. What should I do?

Check whether offences are compoundable and so, you can legally compromise and compound the offences.

Fist made compromise and then file quashing in High court and your case will be quashed
