Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Myself annd my friend both above 71 yrs old were manhandled and tortured physically and mentally by five persons of our block associations when we went to the block office on the invitation of the secretary of the block to see some papers. we lodge a written joint complain to local police . police registered case against the five persons u/s 341 and 503. there is no eye witness in our favour. in case due to absene of sufficien evidence the accused get aquited in the case can they file defamation suit agaist us?
