anticipatory bail application thorugh Power of Attorney

sir,

i want to know that whether the bail application under section 438 Cr.P.C is maintainable through Power of Attorney or not. plz provide me relevent case law

Most of the court require presence of accused at the time of hearing of 438 application. Therefore, 438 application by PoA may not be maintainable.
