anticipatory bail

i live in delhi.My wife lives in kolkata.Can i take anticipatory bail

from delhi or do i have to get it from kolakata?I am apprehending that my wife may lodge 498a against me in kolkata.

You may get transit anticipatory bail from Delhi and final anticipatory bail from the court of place where offence is registered against you.

You may apply for bail only after you obtain a COPY OF FIR. The bail should be applied to the court where FIR is registered.
