arrested for car theft and FIR is registered, now he is on bail if the complaint agrees for compromise or out of court settlement then FIR and court case will be close??? or it will continuous....

in case the f.i.r. is u/s 379 of IPC, it is a compoundable offence and the case may be closed if informant/victim and the accused compromise u/s 320 of crpc.

See sections applied. If sections applied are compoundable, then compromise, which known as compounding is possible.
