Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Our blank cheques very stolen. The person forged signatures on two cheques and got them bounced. Then he filed 138 on the second cheque. What is the procedure of getting FIR filed and how can we ensure Fast conviction of the person at the earliest. Will he go behind bars. He has two cases of forgery already pending against him in court regarding other documents. Thank You

as he is a habitual offender, your case is strong. you can lodge an f.i.r. u/s 468/471/420 or in case the police refuse to interfere, file a private complaint before the magistrate and get an f.i.r lodged u/s 156(3) of crpc.
