Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

My bother is charged with ipc 408 & ipc 420 for mishandling money 28 lakhs of his employer. He confessed to the crime in the first instance.Now he is in the judicial custody please let me know how many days will it take to get a bail and how much have to spend for the bail

i would like to inform you that your brother has charged under Section 408 and 420 of IPC. Sec. 408 is Criminal breach of trust by a clerk or servent, this one is bailable offence and Sec. 420 is cheating and non bailable offence.

you may file regular bail application before the jurisdictional magistrate, it will be take one or two weeks time for disposal by the magistrate. in your case so much of amount is misappropriated so consequences is critical.
