calling for documents

framing of charges is the next stage in a criminal case. prosecution relies on some documents and they are producing it.there are some other documents which i need at the time of cross examining prosecution witnesses these documents are in the possession of abank and police(1)can i call for those documents immediately after framing charges and before trial starts?if not possible how can i effectively crossexamine prosecution witnesses using those documents?

You can ask the court for summoning witnesses and production of documents.

You can call all relevant documents by invoking provisions of section 91 Cr.P.C.

you can very well file application to direct the bank an police to call the required document . But you may be issuing notice seprately also to concerned

Yes, you can summon the necessary documents by filing a misc application in the case immediately after charges are framed.
