there should not be a doubt in the mind of judge and in case there is a doubt, the accused may get benefit of doubt.

chain of evidence should be such that there should be no scope for the court / judge for even having reasonable doubt about guilt of accused(i.e the court should not have scope to think that accused can be innocent )
