Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I caught the theif who has stolem my mobile and called 100, and report was fiired, now police is asking me to appear before the court. I dont want to appear before court. Will I got any punishment form the court.

since you filed the complaint, it is your duty to support the state in executing its function. The court may issue warrants of arrest if you do not appear at the first instant. Why are you scared of appearing before the court? You will be contributing to maintainance of Law and Order.
