Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Can c.b.i. investigate conventional crimes such as theft,cheating,robbary etc,with out asking by high court,supreme court or state govt. in other words can cbi investigate suo-moto conventional crimes.
or offences not covered by p.c. act?

one can make a complaint to CBI but generally it does not investigate such crimes and refers the complaint to local police station.
