Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
charge- ipc 420,201 My ex-husband unintentionly got me involved in a case. He took 2 chqs from a party in my name,party was completly unknown to me,never met this party before. still this party gave 2 chqs in my to my EX. My EX depositd chqs, asked me to remove N give him the amt deposited in my a/c.With a big fight I removed the money N gave it him, warning him not do such a thing again. My EX was cheated by the agents He could not deliver ticket to the party. My EX in fright ran away without in forming me. The party started to harass me for his whereabouts which I did not have.with lots of difficulty N with someones help I found N told him come N surrender or I will commit suicide along with our 2 sons. He come and surrender but police also arrested me and charged me with the same as his.Now after one year the party wants to do settlement and finish the case. application for settlement is put in the court the said that 420ipc can be settled but ipc201 cannot, now plz help N guide me what I should do, I am government servent, I dont want to lose my job, as I am raising my 2 sons alone plz advice me how should I get out of this ipc 201 charges safely.your help or answers will certainly be appreciated.thank you ALL.+
