Cheque bounce for the amount 4 lakhs
I was one of four working partners for the firm SS Computers established in 1998 ann due to loss auctioned in the year 2002. Loan recovered from the person who pledged his property .Complainant now booked case under N.I 138 act accusing I have given post dated cheque in the year 2001 and date mentioned on the cheque was 27-3-2007.Cheque bounced since account automatically closed due to the insuffiecient funds.The account is in the name of the firm. Firm is registered one.

Did the cheque bears your signature? Did you replied to legal notice sent by the complainant? did the notice was served upon you and the company? Did you or firm sent the reply to said notice? What was privity of contract between the firm and the complainant? Details are missing.
