if the cheque is bounced, is there--name removed--relief for the ex-directors?

Yes. Provided they ceased to be directors before issuance of cheque.

There are large number of Judgements, which has immediately allowed the ex-directors name to be deleted. The concept in Company law is that of officer in charge, only those responsible for running the affairs of the company can be made accussed. For more details [email protected]
