Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I have got a cheque dated 30-09-09 and the same was deposited to the Bank for clearing on 24-12-2009 but it was returned by the bank on 29-12-2009 stating the reason insufficient fund. Then I have issued leagal notice to the party's official address and his residential address on 19-01-2010 by speedpost through legal lawyer. The notice was served to his residential address but the notice could not served at his office address rather it returned back to the lawyer stating the reason not met. Now I have decided to file legal criminal case before the CJM. Now I just wanted to know what would be the imact of the returned notice on the case.

Since notice has already been served upon him at his home address, that should be sufficient service of notice.
