Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
if a cheque is dated 1st may what is the last date of validity of this instrument taking 6month validity.
if such a cheque is presented in december how can we prove to court that it is past validity date??

A cheque is valid for a period of 6 months from its dating. So if cheque is issued on 1 May then it expires on 31 October i.e. 6 months. Legal provisions is clear regarding its validity,
