Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I was given a cheque of 90000 Rs, WHen i deposited it was bounced. I sent legal notice, then file a case, now its running, but the person is not emain present in court. He deposited 1/3 amount in my account. but he is not ready to pay COMPENSATION? Can i give back taht 1/3rd amount and request HOn. Judge to punish him according to law?

Ask the court to issue warrant if he doesn't remain present in court. You can proceed with the case after he is arrested and brought in court.

ask court to start PO proceedings and adjust 1/3 amount deposited by him as interest.
