Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

If a US citizen files 498A case against her in- laws in India then can i be extradited to USA? I am the husband who is Indian citizen. However my wife is US citizen.

Where can 498A case can be filed? My wife is from PUNJAB[US CITIZEN} and I am from Karnataka. My wife has never visited her in-laws home(i;e, KARNATAKA). If case is filed in punjab can me and my family be arrested and taken to girls place[i;e PUNJAB] or the case will be filled and fought in the juridiction of girls matrimonial home i;e in Karnataka.
