Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
my client had issued five different cheques to one person of amount 2lakh each in trial cout he has convicted and ordered to give double the cheque amount and 6 months imprisement against this he has appealed to district sessions court which upheld the trial court judgement now is it advisible to go to high court or to take the punishment because he is unable to pay 20 lakh what will be the maximum punishment he will get in negotiable intrument act.
