Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
IS it compulsory to attend every proceeding in my 38 case.
I am working with a big company on higher post.
So there are any way out not to attend each and every proceeding.
Can my wife attend on behalf of me?

i think you must be talking about 138 case ...if thats the matter then kindly tell your capacity in case..(complainant or accused). Each date is not compulsory you can file your exemption. General law is that person should be available when he is needed.. so STAGE of case matters alot. otherwise it is not a big issue. AS SUCH YOUR WIFE CANNOT ATTEND ON YOUR BEHALF UNLESS SHE IS HOLDER OF POWER OF ATTORNEY OF YOURS(OF COURSE ONLY IF YOU ARE COMPLAINANT.)
