conspiracy was hatched in the stateX forgery was also comitted in X but cheating and use of the forged document was in the state Y f.i.r and charge sheet filed in state Y i find in a judgement that at the time of considering jurisdiction of trial the place whre the major offences are comitted should be considererd especially conspiracy. can the trial court at Y conduct the trial? can it quash the proceedings considering the jurisdiction

forgery and cheating and using the forged document for the purpose of cheating are major offences and it cannot be said that use of a forged document in state Y was a minor offence so state Y has no jurisdiction. the proceedings may not be quashed on this ground. however, you may reproduce the f.i.r. here for better opinion.
