Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
My cousin sister was burnt alive within 7 years of her marriage by her in-laws. My niece who is 6 yrs old is missing since. Police says she is with her paternal aunt who is also a co-accused in the murder and is named in the chargesheet. But the police is not taking any steps to locate my niece. Please advise what to do to make the police find and produce my niece in court to ensure that she is alive and in good company.

If police are not taking steps, approaching high court will expedite the matter.
