Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
there is a criminal case against me .i have got acertified copy of the departmental enquiry report. iwant to mark it as diffence exhibit .but the person who conducted the enquiry is no more.this being an official report can it be marked through another officer who will vouch that the document in question is the enquiry report? or whether that document can be marked through me when i am questioned by the judge?

the copy may be marked by other official incharge of the file after the death of the concerned person.

It can be proved by some other person who is aware of this report.
It can also be proved by submitting the same with an application U/s.294 Cr.P.C.
