Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

criminal

I am in another country but hired someone in India to send a letter to someone's wife. This letter contained information that he had an affair. I am not living in India but want to know if he finds out who did it can he press criminal charges? If the information in the letter was not true. Also if I am in another country what are the chances that they would ask another country to arrest me and bring me to India
