A forged document has been produced in a Civil Court in Kerala, India and the plantiff has secured an injuction order. I am husband to one of the defendent to the civil case. I propose to take up the matter. Kindly advise on how I should proceed, like, Should I move a petition before the same Court, or is their any other remeday

As far as use of forged document in a court proceeding is concerned, you can move the court in which forged document was used for initiating action under section 340 r/w 195 Cr.P.C. In case, forgery was committed before use thereof in court, you can initiate prosecution yourself.

you can not move a petetion.your wife who is defendant can file a petetion u/s340 of crpc.court can take appropriate action.

you may take attorney of your wife and can contest and appear in case being attorney of your wife.

it must be a civil matter

anyway move an application for vacation of the injunction if u are having proof that the affidavit is wrong.

also move an applicatio under section 340 Cr PC for filing false affidavit
