Re: criminal law
to tell you in brief ... revision is made against order which are interlocutory and appeals are made against final orders and judgements.
however this knowledge is not complete and it is not possible to explain it completely here.
appeal and revision both lie at high court and session court and it has to be seen from case to case.
take it as just for brief knowledge but remember that LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IS DANGEROUS.
Re: criminal law
appeal is right given by statute/law.
revision is power given to higher court.
in appeal parties must be heard but in revision court may permit to be heard.
from judgement appeal lie.any order of fina nature can be revised.
beside this there are several difference.
Re: criminal law
Revision can be filed against any order of the court if any legal issue is ignored or if the court has not decided any matter in accordance of law however the appeal can be filed only after the conclusion of trial of the matter.Revision or appeal can be filed in next superior court however in fiew cases the same can be challenged in High court also.
