Criminal leave to appeal.

I have file criminal leave to appeal in the Hon.High Court.The Hon.Judge has admitted the appeal and order for RMP.What does RMP means.How much time it will take to hear the appeal and for final order.The appeal is file regarding 138 N.I.

RMP is not the correct word. Correct word is R&P which means Record & Proceedings. As regards time required for hearing and disposal of an appeal before the High Court, same depends on quantum of pending matters before it. Such period may be between 2 to 10 years.

In india courts are over crowded with cases.no definite time can be predicted.

the court must have kept the matter for R and P (record and proceedings)

the time for finalisation of appeal is not so long in delhi courts especially in such matters

but it can not be time bound
