Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

CRIMINAL Prosecution

After staying in India for few 2 months my daughter went abroad at her husbands place after informing him about her arrivial details. During her stay in India her husband never kept in touch with her. After reaching there she found her husband did not come to receive her. When she arrived at her husband's appartment she found that he gave the key to a neighbour's house. When she entered into the house there was nothing inside the house. There was no food,no utensils to cook,no bed,no phone. For 3 days she was without food without money. Then she approached her husband's friend to tell him to give her money for survival. Then her husband came and gave her some dollar(cheque) and also the divorce summon. Now she is in the appartment alone.sleeping on the floor. Her husband does not keep in touch with her.Is this incident a ground to file crminal prosecution against him?

Re: CRIMINAL Prosecution

Yes, this incident, coupled with other acts of cruelty/violence committed by the husband, should provide strong grounds to initiate his criminal prosecution.
