Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Crpc
I am involved in a criminal case in which i am accused of defrauding the bank. There are 12 more accused. It seems so that the case will take 5-7 years more to get a result years. It has already been 5 years now.The banks have filed a cheque return case also under section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act. Summons have been issued to me. As i understand that the cheque return case is resolved fast and i will get conviction in the case. I think i am not guilty in the entire matter. So what should i do to stop the cheque return case and to get the criminal trial complete as early as possible?

Re: Crpc
You may approach the High Court of your State for appropriate directions under Section 482 of Cr. P.C.
Re: Crpc
The facts are incomplete to give any opinion because we are not aware under which section criminal case is filed by the bank.
Based only on the information made available by you I believe there is no way to stop a cheque return case.
Re: Crpc
Apply to the Court.
