Cr.PC sec.387 unless the appellate court directs the accused shall not be required to attend..

under what conditions the court may ask to attend? and what is the general practice of insisting presence?

cr.pc sec. 389...the appellate court maysuspend the sentence..

If conviction is upheld by sessions court the suspention also is given by sessions on the same dayor after appeal and after few days by H.C.?and what is general practice of suspending sentence?

What way arrest can be avoided on the day of judgement?

sometimes, it the deciding court only accepts the bail bond till appeal is filed and in case it is not done and there is a possibility of arrest, the sentences may be suspended by the higher court. suspension of sentence is the only way to avoid the arrest and on the day of judgment, the judge may be requested to accept the bond of the accused pending appeal.
