Date Preponement

Can a Criminal Case date be preponed under Indian Criminal Law/Manual ? - Kindly let us know.

(There is date on 16th Feb 2009, can that be preponed to 10th Feb 2009 on grounds travel inadequacies/etc.)

The case is lying in Pune Court.

Dates are given as per court diary and mutually convenient to parties, if present.

Date once given can not be changed without notice/hearing/consent of all the parties.

Please check whether date communicated to you was in fact 16 Feb as per the Roznama of the court.
