Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Dear Lawyer sir,

My wife was teaching in a school. She has resigned and has to pay 3 months notice pay.The school took a cheque from her many months back(Rs 47000/-),filled up the ctc amount and kept it with themselves. Now without even informing us they have put that chaque in bank and that has bounced as there were insufficient funds.

They threatened (and sent) legal notice. We have now paid them the actual amount due as per full and final settlement (Rs 36000/-).

Is it important to take the bounced cheque back from them now.If they are not giving then what to do?

They are also not giving us full a no dues statement now.

Can we do a counter case on thgem for undue harrassment and illegal taking of blank cheques from teachers???

Pls advise

Regards

ravi

after the perusal of appointment letter only, i ll be able to guide you proper and once they sent you the notice for cheque bouncing, your reply has to state the facts in your defence. you may send the scanned copy of appointment letter at [email protected]
