Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Dear Sir,
I have filed a FIR on april 13 of 2009 against Dowry demand and harrassement.
Till Now Charge sheet hasn't been filed .We have been called so many times for enquiry and even eyewitness has been called long back. Still they are not submitting Chargesheet. Even I have MEt DGP of the state and forwarded the message. Even with their reference the particular office is not doing it. I heard that after 1 year MY FIR Will be lapsed. IS it so. How to file charge sheet before The FIR Lapses

f.i.r doesnt expire due to non filing of charge sheet. u been wrongly informed. however u may approach the IO for filing of charge sheet.
