Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Dear sir ,
I mr Abhinandan was working for a school at bangalore where i was introduced to prabhakar. After his talk i felt he is a gud person and started a tutorial along with him registered at Registrar of firms in partnership with prabhakar, i was also taking home tutions . In a home tution one parent asked me to help her relative in getting management seat in engg college . since I didnt had anybody known i asked them to enquire my partner prabhakar . somehow they talked & finally he cheated them by taking away all the money . He also cheated me in the meanwhile .now he is untraceable , i have sent three postal notices of termination of partnership at will. I have also given advt in news paper not to deal with him in any matter nor with the dissolved firm. i have paid some amount to those parents on feeling guilty . what more could be done ?? Pls I want a peaceful life . I want to come out of any more allegations of me relating to him. what can be done???
