dear sir ,

i have a query

my name is bimal i am from ahmedabad gujarat.

let me first tell you abt the matter -

i wanted to start a new business for which i wanted 1.5 cr, i did not have it, with a helpof a family friend i met a person mr,amit who could provide loans from usa, for a time period of 5 yrs for which i have to pay him brokerage advance and i did pay him via bank rtgs to his bank account now the question arises that after making the payment that mr.amit is absconding he is untraceable.i even got his address from the bank account but the flat in which he lived in mumbai was rented he has left the flat long back.i had made payment in july 2010.

pls guide me what shud i do ?? how to track that fellow? where and which lawyer to meet and what is the procedure??

Hello

Find out, if that bank account is still active. If it is, then without further delay, file a civil suit, and criminal complaint, and get his bank account attached. This is best way, to trace him and recovery money. If the bank account is no more active, then there is hardly anything you can do to recover money except to file a case and police complaint and let police trace him,
