Mother of ex-wife filed a case on local police station after the suicide on 23-Aug-2002.
I live with my parents and my family in the USA and have not visited in India for the last 7 years.
By the response received on 02-Jan-2011 for the status of the case, I understand under section 174 RDO investigated on 2002 and the case is not marked off in FIR Index till date.
1)What does this mean?
2) Can I travel to India now?
3) What do I need to do to cancel/close this case?
Can someone help me please?
Thanks,
Sam

rewrite your question especially the exact response received on 02 Jan 2011 for the status of the case. If you have the contents of the FIR, then that also would be relevant to answer your question
