Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Dear Sir

I have filed FIR Under section 494/498A/506 of IPC Against my Husband. and Now My Husband is 60+ and he has submitted his petition to the Mediation Centre in Alld High Court and till date he has not been arrested by the police. I have visited the mediation centre after getting this information as i have all the proofs that i am his legally married wife. Our Mediation date is in the coming month .Should i have to appoint any lawyer for it ,please Suggest

At the same time ,My husband has filed one Criminal Writs Quashing Of Fir-Miscellaneous (above FIR Under section 494/498A/506) at the Allahabad High court. I have checked the case status at allahabad high court site and it is showing date every week Next Listing date Likely as follows:-

the state counsel would be appearing in this case for the police and you may ask your lawyer to meet him in order to oppose the petition.

In a quashing petition, generally notice is issued to original complainant i.e. you. With notice you would also receive copies of petition and documents. Upon receipt of notice, appear and put forth your side.
