Dear Sir,

I have filed 494 ipc on my husband.

She is now pragnant.Thay have done a marraige in a temple without registration.

I have given eye witness who saw the marraige .

Is it sufficient to prove the begamy.

Both parties are resides in tamilnadu ,the marraige done in tamilnadu in any temple saptapadi is not a essential ceremony --

1. can u please tell me about the above point.

for conviction

1. eye witness who saw the marraige

2 . dna test

is the above two are sufficient for conviction 494 ipc

in case the marriage is not registered and the temple does not issue certificate of marriage, this marriage is no marriage. your case of bigamy may not be successful.

You need to prove second marriage as per the rites applicable. In case of Hindu, Saptapadi is regarded as an important rite.
