Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Dear Sir

What is the Quash. pls help to understand.

Also pls note that the bail given was 6 months back to avoid arrest dring police veriication on the FIR.

It was given to us for only 2 weeks.

i am more concerned and worried that the 2 weeks has already passed 5 months back.

the FIR is same but will there be arrest or any kind of harassment once the chargesheet is filed??

Pls help to understand and guide me accordingly

one need to go through the order to see its operation

The quash of FIR is to get a declaration from High Court that the FIR was bad, illegal, and has no meaning or force and could not have been registered to begin with as no offence has been made out.

as per amendments in criminal procedure code, now the police has to quote the reasons for arrest and generally in petty cases, it avoids arrest. in case you have moved quashing in the high court,you may also move an application for stay of arrest.
