Defamation case against 498 case

I got divorce from my wife against a flase 498 case filed by her. The day I wento family court with all my evidence and witness she said that she will not continue the 498 case and will give me divorce as well for money . there was a solenama written a mutul consent on this matter. I want to file a demation case againt her and her mother and relatives for a false case as it destroyed my reputation in the soceity . Can I file the

It is not advisable to indulge in futile litigation. If you have already been granted divorce, you should enjoy your peace and freedom. The litigation may be wasteful, time consuming and costly with uncertain results.

Depends on presence of essential ingredients of the offences.

Have the material evaluated by your lawyer. It may or may not be defamatory or false or both. Decide accordingly.
