Can a defence loyer force any witness to appear in the court ?
One of friend is balmed for kidnapping his girl friend and they stay in a city on a rented room with shared bathroom toliet, Police did no written the stament of land loard. defence loyer want to call him and few others as a witnees. Can he forced them to appear in the court?

not the lawyer but the court can issue warrant against the witness in case he does not appear despite being served with court summons.

A person is summoned as witness are per the order of the court.
