Define compoundable and non- compoundable offences with iilustration in detail?

a compounable offence is one in which the punishment or proceedings can be dropped if the parties enter into compromise or if the complanant do not want any actionagaianst the accused whereas in non-compounable cases which areof serious nature such is not possible
