Re: dispute

yes, you can get the bail on the basis of your averment that you had purchased the vehicle and has not stolen it. you can also lodge the cross f.i.r against he dealer for selling you vehicle on the basis of forged papers. in case the police does not lodge the f.i.r., u can file a criminal complaint and ask the magistrate to direct the police to lodge an f.i.r.

We really need to look into the FIR and the other documents to comment upon it. What is the stage of investigation?

Re: dispute

Hi Puran

Not only you may get bail; but you may also lodge a counter/separate criminal case against the person who delivered you the forged paper IF you could establish mode of payment of Rs.50,000/- by you, and also preferably if there is any direct witness of the transaction.

Wish you good luck.

Re: dispute

You have good case for the purpose of bail. Bail is subject to proof which you could provide in court.

You may also lodge counter FIR against Dealer for forgery and fraud.

Wish you good luck.
